The USCGC Gallatin was a United States Coast Guard Hamilton-class high endurance cutter. It was commissioned in 1968 and decommissioned in 2014. During its service, it participated in numerous law enforcement operations, search and rescue missions, and drug interdiction efforts. In 1985, it was involved in the Pasha Bulker oil spill cleanup in Australia. The ship was named after Treasury Secretary Albert Gallatin, who served under Presidents Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. The USCGC Gallatin was 378 feet long and had a crew of 170. Its primary armament was a 76 mm OTO Melara gun. After its decommissioning, the ship was transferred to the Nigerian Navy and was renamed NNS Okpabana.
